I find myself gravitating towards flowers on a daily basis, fascinated by their delicate beauty, intricate details and breathtaking hues. But while viewing flowers with my 2 year old niece, I stumbled upon a childlike joy and wonder that shifted my perspective. Instead of straining and striving to recreate every technical detail of each complex bloom, what if I gave myself the freedom to recreate the essence of these florals, the life and joy and wonder and vibrance we saw in the world as children. I allowed myself to dream vivid dreams of colorful flowers, as I wanted to see them. “Dreams in Bloom” is a primal, passionate expression of vernal beauty and chromatic catharsis. My hope is that others out there who are looking to heal out loud and prefer vibrant hues over hushed tones, will be inspired by to nurture their own Dreams and let them bloom.
